Not all images need to be sharp, or clear, or colourful. Maybe an image that’s so far gone rubbish it might have an attraction about it. That’s what I thought about this one…right or wrong. It seems to have enough to identify but not enough to make it boring.
Hi Alan some of the best pictures ever taken are not sharp and poorly printed by modern digital standards. But that’s not the point. The point is a great photo communicates on an emotional level, gives new insight or captures the mood of the time it was taken in. I have been saying for a long time time that photography is not about equipment and technique, but the abiliity to communicate. Andy
