I’m loving the Panasonic Lumix LX3 more and more. It’s the sort of camera that fits in your pocket, produces pin sharp images, has the versatility of a DSLR if you want to but the easiness of a point & shoot when you want it too without it becoming bloody obvious that you have a camera. All it takes is a viewfinder and it’s perfick.
This image is taken by Kilmore Quay in a place known locally as Furlongs Road. It was an old haunt as a kid when the family used to stay here in a caravan for a few months of the summer and where many a fishing trip was made on the back of a moped.
This was converted to B&W, a gradient to separate foreground with mid-ground, a bit of dodge/burn and voila.
